MEDIUMS
• Features: Acrylic mediums are specially formulated products with the same components used for the production of acrylic colours plus the addition of auxiliary products that give them very specific characteristics in each and every case. It is very important to maintain the balance that exists in the formulations of the colors so that they do not lose their property. The use of mediums is essential when you want to achieve special effects. Auxiliary products are advised if you want to enhance, remove a part of the work or decrease the brightness, the mellowness or the opacity.
• Uses: Use uniformly mixed with the colors or use as a basis on which colour is applied afterward.
• Tip's: The correct use of the mediums enables the artists to save material and improve the quality of their work.
GLAZE
Technique: ACRYLIC
Family: MEDIUMS
• Features: Special for patinas, glazes and floated without the need of adding a large quantity of mediums. It slows the drying of acrylic colors. Ideal for achieving works made of Gouache, watercolors or inks used only for acrylics.
• Tip's: When mixed with acrylic colors, the viscosity decreases significantly and makes them transparent.
