M I R Watercolor is a transparent paint, water based, in which the whites and brightness of the art work itself is made by the backing paper.
For the manufacturing we use the same permanent pigments used for oil paints and a traditional water binder solution of arabic gum. The fine pigment particles are retained in the recesses of the fibers from the backing paper, and the arabic gum encourages adherence.
Drying is by simple evaporation of the solvent (water). Watercolor paint that has dried on the palette can be re-softened with water and used again.
