Discover the ACRYLIC MODELING Paste
Have you ever tried acrylic modeling paste on your artworks? In case you don't, don't worry, in this post we will show you the amazing things you can do with this incredible auxiliary product.

The MIR Modeling Paste is a product prepared with a mineral load and a 100% acrylic emulsion, with a satin finish and totally opaque, allows you to achieve reliefs and textures in your works regardless of the type of support, whether rigid or flexible. Its application is permanent, it does not yellow over time and when it dries it is completely flexible and waterproof.

The mineral filler and the 100% acrylic emulsion allow this paste to have a creamy consistency and can be mixed with any acrylic colour without changing its tone and colour. It can be worked with thick or thin layers. Once dry, it does not crack because it is completely flexible. It can be applied with a spatula and brush. The colouring of the work after applying the modeling paste can be done in two ways; you can mix the colour directly with the modeling paste or you can paint over the modeling paste once it is dry.
You can apply the MIR Modeling Paste on any surface such as canvas, glass, metal, plastic, wood, textile, plaster, etc. The surface must be clean prior to application. This paste is ideal for decorating fabrics or wood.

Its viscosity can be reduced by mixing it with the MIR Acrylic Medium.

If you want to add reliefs with grain textures to your artwork, you can mix the MIR modeling paste with sand or any granulated substance as you will see in the video below.

The following video shows the characteristics and uses that can be given to the MIR Acrylic Modeling Paste.

Another characteristic of the MIR Modeling Paste is its impermeability. Once dry, the paste is totally waterproof and repels water as well as humidity. As you can see in the video, by applying it with a brush in a cardboard box, it is completely watertight and retains the water that is applied later.
It is a product that is also used to decorate tiling in bathrooms.

The MIR modeling paste is a product with multiple applications, very versatile and ideal for artists who make reliefs and textures in their artworks.
